On July 18th, the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Transport Infrastructure Management Center launched a pilot project to install streetlights at the Ba Son station of metro line 1, in the Nguyen Huu Canh - Ton Duc Thang area, District 1.

According to the Road Infrastructure Management Center, this is a solar-powered street light that illuminates at night. The surface of the light features a directional chart of Metro Line 1 for passengers to consult in the waiting area.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport is also developing a plan to connect 34 bus routes with Metro Line 1. Connecting the stations of the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien railway line with the main bus routes, branch bus routes, and feeder bus routes will create a unified multimodal public transport system.
