Groundbreaking ceremony of Mavin Mai Son animal feed and agricultural processing factory complex

On August 16, in Chieng Mung commune, Mavin Group held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mavin Mai Son animal feed and agricultural product processing factory complex.

Leaders of Son La province presented flowers of congratulations.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vi Duc Tho, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The factory complex was invested and built by Mavin Group's member company, Mavin Mai Son Company Limited, on an area of over 109,000 m², with a total investment of 350 billion VND. The complex has 2 main items, including: Animal and poultry feed factory with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year; Agricultural product processing factory with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year. After the complex is completed and put into use, it will contribute to increasing the value of local agricultural products through deep processing, applying modern processing technology to production, towards international standards, along with creating more jobs for local workers, increasing budget revenue, and improving the agricultural trade balance.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Mavin Group and Mavin Mai Son Company Limited to continue researching, expanding investment, and expanding production so that Son La can develop further. The province pledged to support and create favorable conditions for investors to properly implement investment policies and roadmaps, to soon complete and put the project into operation, contributing to Son La's rapid and sustainable green development, successfully implementing the targets set out in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony.

It is expected that in 2026, the factory will bring products to the market, serve customers and contribute to the development of Son La province.
