Deputy Chief of Office of the Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai informed about the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam and the Elderly Singing Festival in the Northern Provinces - Region I.
The launching ceremony to respond to the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam 2023 and the Elderly Singing Festival in the Northern Provinces - Region I is expected to be held from September 29 to October 1, 2023 in Ha Tinh with the participation of 28 provinces and cities with more than 400 delegates.
Chairman of the Ha Tinh Elderly Association Thai Sinh informed about the implementation plan of the Ha Tinh Elderly Association.
The Elderly Singing Festival is divided into 3 regions, of which region 1 includes the northern provinces and will be held in Ha Tinh. The Vietnam Association of the Elderly has developed a plan, assigned tasks and coordinated with Ha Tinh to implement the program to ensure practicality, effectiveness and create a widespread effect.
Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the province Dang Van Dung discussed some contents related to giving gifts to the elderly.
Currently, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has issued a plan to implement the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam in 2023 with the theme "The elderly are promoted and fully cared for" and assigned departments, branches and localities with a roadmap to implement the tasks.
At the meeting, delegates discussed contents related to preparations for the launching ceremony and festival.
Vice President of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Phan Van Hung hopes that Ha Tinh will coordinate well with the organization to make the event successful.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Phan Van Hung and members of the delegation provided detailed information on some activities in the launching ceremony and the singing festival for the elderly; and at the same time proposed some contents related to the event.
Based on the delegates' comments, the Association of the Elderly will quickly research and complete the plan, script, and content of the launching ceremony and festival to suit the practical situation.
The Vice President of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly hopes that the departments, branches and sectors of Ha Tinh will coordinate and support the association so that the event takes place successfully, creating a strong spread.

Therefore, the launching ceremony to respond to the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam in 2023 and the Elderly Singing Festival of the Northern Provinces - Region 1 taking place in Ha Tinh is very meaningful.
