Upgrading to VinFast electric motorbike, customer affirms: "The price is too good, can't be better"

During the weekend of August 16-17, the event "Exchange gasoline for electricity - Create a green future with VinFast" in Ho Chi Minh City became a place attracting thousands of customers to experience and exchange old gasoline motorbikes for new VinFast electric motorbikes with many attractive incentives and gifts.

The event atmosphere is always exciting as many people want to directly experience VinFast electric motorbikes.

During 2 days (August 16-17), the event series "Exchange gasoline for electricity - Create a green future with VinFast" took place in parallel at 2 locations: Le Thi Rieng Park (Hoa Hung Ward) and GO! Di An Shopping Center (Dong Hoa Ward). The event attracted thousands of visitors, creating a bustling atmosphere from early morning to late night with continuous test drives, financial consulting and order closing activities.

At Le Thi Rieng Park, Mr. Do Thanh Tung brought his Honda Spacy to exchange for a VinFast Feliz Neo electric motorbike, with an additional payment of 3.5 million VND. Mr. Tung had heard a lot about electric motorbikes recently, happened to see the event while having breakfast and decided to “go green”.

Mr. Do Thanh Tung (left) supports switching to electric vehicles to help create a greener, cleaner living environment.

Electric cars are still new, there will be concerns, but I still choose to support them. I believe electric cars will help people's living environment become greener, cleaner, and more beautiful, ” said Mr. Tung.

Mr. Do Thanh Tung is one of hundreds of customers who "exchanged gasoline for electricity" at VinFast's event at Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park.

The consulting and registration area is always crowded with customers.

Standing not far away, Mr. Tran Van Phuong, living in Ho Chi Minh City, made a similar decision. He traded his 1986 Honda Cub for a VinFast Feliz Neo.

I like electric cars because they are smokeless and environmentally friendly. And electric cars are also more convenient, just need to charge at home, no more wasting time going to the gas station like gasoline motorbikes. My family already has an Evo200 Lite for my child to go to school, I find it good so now I buy a Feliz Neo for my other child ,” said Mr. Phuong.

Mr. Tran Van Phuong wants to buy another Feliz Neo after owning the Evo200 Lite model.

He also said that "Exchanging gasoline for electricity - Creating a green future with VinFast" is a meaningful event as it brings good opportunities for those who want to own electric motorbikes.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dao Xuan Dao (HCMC) came to the program with the desire to change his 2022 Honda Future to VinFast Vento S. "I have researched and decided to buy Vento S. The reason is because this car line has the advantages of being smooth, durable and easy to maintain," said the customer.

Commenting on the selling price of VinFast electric motorbikes, Mr. Dao affirmed: “ Too good, it can’t be better .” He gave the example of the Theon S, which is being sold at a preferential price of more than 50 million VND, much lower than the previous price. “Such support for users is very good,” he said.

Regarding the reason for being open to electric vehicles, Mr. Dao pointed out two main reasons. One is that the city will soon limit gasoline motorbikes from entering the central area. If gasoline motorbikes are still used in the future, it will be inconvenient. The second reason, according to him, is that electric motorbikes are very economical. “I have not calculated the fuel cost specifically, but in terms of maintenance, electric motorbikes are definitely cheaper. Gasoline motorbikes need to periodically change the oil, chains, sprockets, spark plugs..., but electric motorbikes do not,” he affirmed.

The event's display area was always crowded with customers, especially the one with the Evo Grand model.

The “Exchange Gas for Electricity” event at Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park also attracted customers interested in the new VinFast Evo Grand model. The display area was always crowded with customers coming to learn more and the dealer staff was ready to support and provide necessary information to customers.

Mr. Hoang Van Phu, a resident of Saigon Ward, came to the event to learn about Evo Grand because “it was the first time he heard of an electric motorbike equipped with 2 batteries: 1 fixed battery and 1 removable battery”. He called Evo Grand “a big step forward” for VinFast electric motorbikes.

Mr. Phu has never been shy about electric vehicles, and even actively supports them because they help reduce dust on the streets. He likes the Evo Grand because of its range of up to 262 km per charge. "Over time, I believe electric motorbikes will develop beyond gasoline motorbikes," Mr. Phu affirmed.

Customers coming to the event were able to directly drive many VinFast electric motorbike models.

The event “Exchange gasoline for electricity - Create a green future with VinFast” is organized weekly by VinFast, providing people with the opportunity to conveniently and easily exchange old gasoline motorbikes for new electric motorbikes. Customers who buy motorbikes at the event will receive incentives of up to 1 million VND and many attractive gifts, and can also access flexible financial solutions suitable for each person's economic conditions.
