The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas has been extended for two more days, Qatar's Foreign Ministry said.

Hamas armed forces also confirmed the extension of the ceasefire for another 48 hours with the same conditions as the ceasefire four days earlier.
According to the ceasefire extension agreement, Israel and Hamas agreed to extend the ceasefire for two more days, until the morning of November 30. During the additional ceasefire, the two sides will continue to exchange hostages and prisoners under the same mechanisms and conditions as during the past four-day ceasefire.

Hamas will release 20 more hostages it seized in an attack on southern Israel on the morning of October 7, in addition to the 50 hostages it pledged to release under the initial agreement. Israel will release an additional 60 Palestinian prisoners, mostly women and minors, in addition to the 150 prisoners it pledged to release. Many countries and international organizations immediately welcomed the agreement to extend the ceasefire in Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera TV channel, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas armed forces, handed over the fourth group of hostages held in the Gaza Strip to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on the evening of November 27.
