A big advantage is that the team will play at home in Viet Tri ( Phu Tho ). The current squad still includes key players such as Huynh Nhu, Bich Thuy, Chuong Thi Kieu, Kim Thanh, along with many potential young players such as Ngoc Minh Chuyen, Kim Yen and Thanh Thao. In particular, the presence of overseas Vietnamese player Nguyen Hoang Nam Mi promises to bring a new breeze to the playing style of the Vietnamese women's team.
