T&T and CIENCO4 joint venture wins bid for Quang Tri airport

According to Decision 2879/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, the winning investor is the consortium of T&T Transport Infrastructure Investment and Development Company Limited and CIENCO4 Group Joint Stock Company.

The project implementation location is in Gio Quang, Gio Hai and Gio Mai communes (Gio Linh district, Quang Tri). The scale of investment in construction of component project 2 - construction of an airport under the investment project to build Quang Tri airport, Quang Tri province, meeting the standards of a level 4C airport. The new airport will be able to operate code E aircraft, allowing the operation of irregular international flights according to regulations when needed and a level 2 military airport, meeting the needs of operating up to 5 million passengers/year and 25,000 tons of cargo/year.

The project is implemented under the public-private partnership method, build-operate-transfer (BOT) model. Total investment is 5,821 billion VND.

Project preparation and construction investment time is within 2 years. Operation time, toll collection and capital recovery is 47 years and 2 months.

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province requested the consortium of T&T Transport Infrastructure Investment and Development Company Limited and Cienco4 Group Joint Stock Company to complete investment procedures to implement the project, ensuring compliance with the approved planning, scale, design and progress of the project.
