Lion Dance: From Folk Festival to Professional Sportsmanship
Unlike many previous films that only consider lion-lion-dragon as a festival backdrop, Heart Jump delves into the journey of real athletes. The sport requires a strong physical foundation, precise technique and perfect coordination – characteristics of top performance sports.

At the launching event, Dr. Pham Quang Long - Chairman of the Vietnam Lion Dance Federation - emphasized: "Lion dance is a unique national art form, but it is time for the public to recognize it as a top performance sport, where athletes must train seriously like any other high-performance sport.
This can be considered the first time the quintessence of Vietnamese lion dance has been brought to the big screen with elaborate and professional investment. The Federation's participation in the project is to ensure the authenticity of expertise and technique, so that each competing team and each spirit of 'fair-play' is fully reproduced, keeping the Vietnamese 'soul' of the sport. Our biggest goal is not just to stop at cinematic success, but also the aspiration to together honor national pride, to carry out the great policy of the Party and State in bringing Vietnamese culture to the world."
"Slices" of psychology of modern Vietnamese youth
Not only is the film a story about sports, it is also a slice of the psychology of modern Vietnamese youth, especially in the connection between generations.

Director Khoa Nguyen shared: "The film reflects the typical conflicts of modern Vietnamese youth: between personal ego and family expectations, between following trends and preserving identity."
To realistically portray the athletes, young actors such as Vo Hoai Anh, Anh Tu Wilson, Thien Nhan, Thiet Yen... had to undergo intense physical training with professional artists.

For the first time, Meritorious Artist Vo Hoai Nam and his daughter Vo Hoai Anh acted together in a movie.

Notably, actress Mai Thu Huyen not only participates in acting but also takes on the role of production director, continuing to be the "connector" to spread cultural and artistic values closer to the public.
