In terms of strength, both fighters possess a solid foundation of standing and a set of Jiu-Jitsu skills. If Le Van Tuan is considered the fighter who possesses two choke moves, Buggy Choke (A variation of the choke, performed by using one leg to put pressure on the opponent's neck, while the other hand is squeezing tightly) and D'arce Choke (A variation of the triangle choke) only on the Vietnamese MMA floor, then opponent Tran Ngoc Luong has defeated every opponent he has ever faced with the skills of a national Jiu-Jitsu champion.

In the women's 52kg weight class, "Jiu Jitsu teacher" Lo Thi Phung will aim for the first championship in her career with opponent Nguyen Vu Quynh Hoa. At LION Championship 21, the duo Xuan Phuong - Ngoc Thuc accepted defeat after only 55 seconds against the duo Nguyen Tien Long - Nguyen Trung Hai. In this encounter, Nguyen Tien Long will join his new teammate Nguyen Thanh Thoan to fight Ngoc Thuc - Xuan Phuong again.
