Revealed the identities of 3 Vietnamese stars playing in a friendly match with the 'Red Devils' MU

The match is scheduled to take place on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium (Malaysia). The players in the ASEAN All-Stars squad include stars from AFF members.

The announcement from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) today said that the three stars of the Vietnamese team participating are midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai (CAHN), Hoang Duc (Ninh Binh) and Duy Manh ( Hanoi Club). Head coach of the Vietnamese team Kim Sang-sik was also previously honored by the AFF to lead the Southeast Asian star squad due to his recent achievement of helping the Vietnamese team win the 2024 ASEAN Cup.

Coach Kim Sang-sik was given the honor by AFF to lead the Southeast Asian all-star team in the friendly match against MU on May 28.

The three players were selected based on their performance, professionalism and competitive spirit in recent times. Quang Hai, Hoang Duc and Duy Manh are also factors contributing to the Vietnam team's victory in the 2024 ASEAN Cup. The official list of Southeast Asian stars will be announced in the near future.

Coach Kim Sang-sik said he was honored to represent the regional stars in the match against Manchester United. VFF Vice President Nguyen Xuan Vu said that the fact that Mr. Kim Sang-sik was chosen by the AFF to lead the ASEAN All-Stars team shows his personal prestige as well as the position that Vietnamese football has built in the regional football community.
