Accordingly, Michelin Guide has announced the list of Vietnamese restaurants awarded Michelin Star, Michelin Selected destinations and restaurants with delicious food at affordable prices (Bib Gourmand) 2024.
In particular, Da Nang , a new destination added in the second announcement in Vietnam, contributes 35 locations to the guide, including 1 Michelin one-star restaurant, 1 Michelin blue-star restaurant and 16 Bib Gourmand award-winning dining establishments.
La Maison 1888 Restaurant is the first 1 Michelin star restaurant in Da Nang.
Specifically, the list of 1-star Michelin restaurants has a notable new name: La Maison 1888 restaurant located in the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Bai Bac, Son Tra. This is the first 1-star Michelin restaurant in Da Nang.
According to Mr. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Michelin Guide, Da Nang is a factor that helps the choices of the 2024 culinary guide edition become richer and more diverse.
“In fact, the three cities of Vietnam including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang all have their own colors. Vietnam's culinary culture shows abundant energy, passion and creativity that constantly surprises the market. Vietnam has truly become an attractive destination on the world culinary map in the eyes of tourists and diners,” Mr. Gwendal Poullennec shared.
In addition, in this announcement, for the first time, a restaurant in Vietnam has received a Michelin Green Star, which is Nen Danang (Da Nang). This award honors pioneering dining establishments in building sustainable cuisine, providing an experience that combines the excellence of dishes with a serious commitment to environmental friendliness.
List of restaurants in Da Nang receiving Bib Gourmand awards
The list of Bib Gourmand award-winning restaurants has doubled compared to last year, with 18 establishments in Hanoi, 16 in Da Nang and 24 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The list of restaurants in Da Nang receiving the Bib Gourmand award includes: An Thoi, Ba Dong, Co Ba's Shrimp Jumping Pancake, Be Ni 2, Mrs. Roi's Beef Noodle Soup (Hai Chau), 109 Fish Noodle Soup, Hon Fish Noodle Soup, Little Owner, Indian Aroma Restaurant, Hong Van Jellyfish Quang Noodles, Nam Hien (Phan Thanh Street), Ngoc Chi, Phu Hong, Quan Nhan, Rang, and Wooden Thia.
Michelin recognized 19 establishments in Da Nang (all new names) in the Michelin Selected list this year, including: Ba Dieu (Tran Tong Street), Yen's Noodle Soup, Hoi An People's Kitchen, Hen Kitchen, Be Man, Lan Chicken Rice, Quang Noodles 1A, Quang Noodles Co Sau, My Hanh Seafood, Nam Danh, Nen Danang, Nu Do Kitchen, Olivia's Prime, Si Dining, The Temptation.
