Series of candidates unfairly failed, Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University speaks up

According to the school, on August 22, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the admission scores for 2025.

Immediately afterwards, the school reviewed the admission list and found that there were cases where candidates did not meet the admission standards but were on the admission list and vice versa.

Considering this was a technical error and to ensure maximum benefits for candidates, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education has sent a dispatch requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to create conditions for candidates to continue the admission process and requesting support from relevant universities.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education has worked with each university and initially received very positive cooperation.

"Parents and candidates will be properly resolved to ensure their legitimate rights," the school affirmed.

The above solution was given after a series of candidates encountered problems with the virtual filtering process and determining admission results from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

Dozens of candidates and parents have sent feedback to Dan Tri in the past two days about irregularities in the admission results announced by the school.

Candidate TH (Bien Hoa, Dong Nai ) said he had enough points to be admitted to the Chemistry major of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in his third choice.

H. said that when looking up on the school's admission portal, the results showed that H. was eligible for admission. However, on the Ministry of Education and Training's portal, it said he failed and was transferred to the fourth choice for admission to the University of Health Sciences.

Many candidates are restless when faced with situations like TH, because they don't understand why they failed.

Meanwhile, many other candidates were in a situation where they did not have enough points to pass the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education but also failed all their subsequent wishes in an inexplicable way.

Although among these candidates, there are candidates who scored 25-26 points, exceeding the standard score for the registered wishes, they still received 100% failure results on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.

The reason given by the schools behind is that when filtering out fake candidates, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education reported that the candidate was admitted to the above wish.

According to Dan Tri 's private source, this afternoon, a meeting was set up between the Department of Higher Education and 66 schools to resolve the above incident.
