Ngan 98 arrested: Unusual things revealed at production company in Hanoi

According to the police, Ngan 98 established ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited and the business household ZuBu Shop, but let others act as directors, including her biological mother. In reality, all operations, finances, and business activities were directly directed and benefited by Ngan 98.

According to research, on the packaging of weight loss products advertised by Ngan 98, it is stated that "the trader responsible for product quality and distribution is Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited. Manufactured at a GMP-standard factory located in Dan Phuong Industrial Park ( Hanoi City).

According to the announcement of the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) in June, only one of the products including X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3) and X7 Plus is licensed to be declared as a health protection food. That is the product X7 Plus, announced and responsible by ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited, manufactured at Nanotesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited (Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Hanoi City).

According to the National Business Registration Portal, Nanotesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company Limited was established in July 2022. Its main business line is the production of functional foods and micronutrient-fortified products.

The enterprise had an initial charter capital of 9 billion VND. The Director and Legal Representative of this enterprise was Mr. Nguyen Sy Dat (born in 1982). However, after only 2 months of establishment, the position of Director and Legal Representative of the enterprise was transferred to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang (born in 1982).

On September 12, the company announced that it had increased its charter capital to VND25 billion, but the proportion of shareholders contributing capital was not disclosed. Notably, after only 10 days, on September 22, 2025, the company suddenly announced its dissolution due to ineffective operations.

According to the investigation agency, initially, Ngan 98 ordered the production of health protection food products from Vinh Dien Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited in Hanoi and Pulipha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in Hai Duong province.

After Vinh Dien Company was inspected and handled by the authorities for using banned substances in food, ZuBu Company signed a document to send to the Department of Food Safety to notify the change of manufacturer to Nanotesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited.

The police agency said that Nanotesla Company is also Vinh Dien Company because it has the same apparatus, people, methods of buying, selling, delivering, and paying for goods. After changing the manufacturer, Nanotesla Company continued to produce three boxed products and three packaged products (freebies) to deliver to Ngan 98.

The goods are transported by the manufacturing unit from Hanoi to the warehouse of ZuBu Company and Zubu Shop Business Household at the warehouse in Cat Lai Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The goods are directly received, checked and stored by Tran Thi Nhat Le (employee of Ngan 98).
