On October 13, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Saigon Entrepreneurs Association held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (2005 - 2025) and the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day with the theme "20 years - Convergence of intelligence - Reaching for the future".
The event gathered more than 1,000 delegates, including representatives of departments, branches, socio-political organizations, universities and a large number of business members.
Within the framework of the program, the Saigon Business Association announced and awarded the title "Entrepreneur - Beauty from the heart" to 150 outstanding businessmen, recognizing their silent but profound contributions to social security, volunteer work and sustainable development.
Along with that, 50 typical entrepreneurs and brands were also honored for their efforts in building strong brands, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese goods in the international market, demonstrating the creative spirit and aspirations of the business community in the city named after Uncle Ho.
In addition, the association also honored 12 businessmen with 20, 30 and 40 years of experience in business leadership; rewarded 24 groups and 115 individuals with outstanding achievements in building and developing the business community of Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lu Nguyen Xuan Vu - Chairman of the Saigon Business Association - expressed his pride when looking back on the 20-year journey accompanying the development of the city. According to him, over the past two decades, the association has not only been a place for business people to connect and exchange but also a "common home" that nurtures the spirit of true enrichment, compliance with the law and social responsibility.
Over the past 20 years, the Saigon Entrepreneurs Association has affirmed its position as a leading prestigious professional organization, gathering more than 1,200 members who are business owners, along with 12 specialized committees, 24 clubs and 40 active branches throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, Mr. Vu also expressed his deep gratitude to the Party, State, Government and National Assembly, especially for the issuance of Decree 68/ND-CP on private enterprise development, creating a favorable legal corridor for this dynamic economic sector.
He also expressed his gratitude to the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and departments and branches for always accompanying and creating conditions for the association to develop sustainably throughout the 20-year journey.
