KBIZ was established in 1962 with the aim of protecting the rights and interests of 7.1 million Korean small and medium-sized enterprises; at the same time, promoting balanced economic development according to the government's priority policy to support and promote Korean small and medium-sized enterprises to grow at home and abroad.
According to KBIZ Vice President Jeong Yoon Mo, in Korea, small and medium-sized enterprises account for more than 99% of the total number of companies and 90% of the labor force. Therefore, KBIZ's responsibility is to wholeheartedly support the activities of Korean small and medium-sized enterprises by seeking and creating a good business environment so that they have favorable conditions to engage in business activities and quickly consolidate their position.
Therefore, KBIZ believes that there will be more connection activities, closely coordinating with Long An province in the future to create favorable conditions and develop special support policies for SMEs investing in Vietnam in general, Long An in particular in many fields.

In the context of the very good development of the relationship between the two countries, the two sides have become “Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Partners”. Economic cooperation between the two countries continues to develop strongly, deeply and widely after the two countries signed the Vietnam - Korea Free Trade Agreement (VKFTA).
In Long An, there are currently more than 200 projects of Korean investors in operation, ranking 2nd in number of projects and 3rd in investment capital with nearly 1 billion USD; Korean projects in the province have made important contributions to the development of the locality. In the coming time, the province hopes that KBIZ will actively connect Korean investors to learn about and invest in the province. At the same time, committing to Korean investors, Long An provincial leaders are always consistent in directing and building partnerships with Korean investors for mutual development.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son introduced the geographical location, investment environment, development orientation according to the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, priority areas of the province such as developing synchronous and modern urban technical infrastructure, smart urban areas, traffic infrastructure; environment; service industries with high added value.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son also emphasized that the leaders of Long An province always accompany businesses, regularly grasp and dialogue with businesses to promptly remove difficulties in the process of investment, production and business.
Long An also wishes to cooperate with KBIZ and invite KBIZ members to invest in Long An in the following fields: High technology, focusing on the 4.0 automation industry, manufacturing of electronic components - equipment and software, semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence; material production, supporting industry, processing and manufacturing, manufacturing, assembling cars and auto components; developing smart eco-urban areas; seaport services, import and export services, business support services, logistics; border gate economy; high-tech agriculture, high-tech agriculture model combined with eco-tourism, forming a regional agricultural export coordination center; attracting investment in developing the renewable energy industry;...

KBIZ Vice President Jeong Yoon Mo affirmed that Korean enterprises always want to invest long-term, expand production and business in Vietnam in the coming time. Currently, KBIZ has been actively connecting with authorities at all levels to have trade promotion policies specifically for Korean small and medium enterprises with Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam. At the same time, he hopes that the Vietnamese Government and Long An province will continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for Korean enterprises to invest as well as contribute to the overall development of the province./.
