On May 23, the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security sent a document to the academies, schools of the People's Public Security and the Public Security of units and localities regarding the adjustment of the schedule for the 2nd Public Security Diploma Exam for citizens who have graduated from universities outside the Public Security sector in 2025.
Accordingly, the 2025 Public Security Diploma 2 Exam will be held by the Ministry of Public Security on June 21 and 22, instead of June 14-15 as previously announced. The exam results will be announced on July 2.
In addition, the Department of Training also corrected the information in the notice of format and reference questions for 2025 published on May 14 in the direction that: The 2025 Public Security Diploma 2 exam will be organized through essay format.
The exam format and reference questions for the 2025 Public Security Diploma 2 Exam for the 4 exam codes CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4 will follow the exam format and reference questions announced in 2024.

In 2025, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to assign the police academies and schools to recruit 830 new regular university-level training targets for citizens who have graduated from a non-police field.

Candidates choose 1 of 4 exam codes to take the exam according to the major, group of majors, and registered school. In which, the People's Police Academy (Security major group); the People's Police Academy, the People's Police University and the People's Police University consider the exam codes CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4; the Information Security major, the People's Police Academy and the Fire Prevention University consider the exam code CA1; the People's Police Technical-Logistics University considers the exam codes CA1, CA2.
The admission score is the total score of the Ministry of Public Security's Diploma 2 Entrance Exam converted to a 30-point scale rounded to 2 decimal places plus regional priority points, subject priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
The formula for calculating the score is as follows: ĐXT = BTBCA*3/10 + ĐC, in which: + ĐXT: admission score + BTBCA: score of the Ministry of Public Security's Diploma 2 assessment test + ĐC: bonus points. - The candidate's bonus points are determined as the sum of regional priority points, subject priority points and bonus points prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security, according to the formula: ĐC = ĐT + KV + Đth. In which: ĐC is the bonus point, ĐT is the subject priority point, KV is the regional priority point, Đth is the bonus point.
