(HNMO) - On the evening of June 10, the second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023 with the theme "Love without borders" took place magnificently with the competition between two fireworks teams Hands Fireworks (Canada) and Arteventia (France).
Hands Fireworks and Arteventia are the "newbies" participating in DIFF for the first time. At this festival, the two teams had a spectacular lighting competition combining fireworks and music , expressing the culture and identity of each country.
Coming from Canada, a country with a blend of modern and ancient beauty from many diverse cultures, the Hands Fireworks team brought an artistic fireworks display called "Aurora" with beautiful light streaks in the sky of Da Nang. With the background of 14 best electronic music tracks of Canadian music, the representative of the "maple leaf country" recreated the beauty of the aurora - which only appears at the North Pole of the Earth - right on the Han River.
"We use many special effects to convey messages related to music, dance and typical Canadian summer festivals to the audience," said Alain Bouthillier, team leader of Hands Fireworks.
Meanwhile, before coming to DIFF 2023, the Arteventia team (France) won many major awards at fireworks display competitions in the United States, Poland and Belgium.
According to Mr. Edouard Gregoire, captain of Arteventia team, with the theme “Colors of Hope”, the team’s performance tonight used thousands of high and low-altitude fireworks combined with diverse background music such as the passionate rock of Imagine Dragon or the catchy R&B rhythm of The Weeknd. The message of the performance emphasized human understanding, about human communication with nature.
In addition to the brilliant fireworks displays, the second night of DIFF 2023 also features a music program honoring love, from passionate rock to cheerful R&B melodies with famous domestic and international songs.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Hung, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: “My family was very excited to buy tickets to watch DIFF this year. From the spacious stage, unique water music, to the music and vibrant performances of the artists, all created an overall effect that was very surprising in terms of both sight and sound, sound and light.”
DIFF 2023 with the theme "World without distance" takes place from June 2 to July 8, 2023 at the fireworks stage on the Han River, with 5 competition nights and the participation of 8 fireworks teams, including 7 international teams representing countries: England, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland and the host team Da Nang - Vietnam.
