They are likened to an open museum with many miniature galleries as booths. From jewelry, camera rolls, or wooden furniture from the last century... all are given a new life through the meticulousness of the seller.
Under the Manhattan Bridge, the sounds of hammers, engravers, grinders, and the meticulous image of a man with antique glasses… make anyone passing by curious.
For over 20 years, Mr. Nico has been dedicated to beautifying old things, even things that have become ugly over the years.
Materials are diverse and quite available, both old and antique, especially in the Brooklyn Old Town area, where classic European style meets modern. Of course, indispensable is a tool kit of more than 70 carving, grinding, and filing bits of all sizes.

Mr. Nico (Hand Carver) said: "The designs or products we create are all made from recycled metals, if lucky, we can find antiques. I usually engrave on brass, copper, silver, gold and precious metals. The engraving tips must be carefully selected. I have to use antique tools to recreate the manual techniques from ancient times."
There aren’t many opportunities to stop and see crafts like this in a bustling place like New York, so visitors come not just to buy something, but to take home a memory of their own.
The price of finished products here can range from 20, 30 USD to hundreds of USD, including engraving service, about 5 USD/1 letter. From old jewelry such as key chains, rings or bracelets, through the hands of the craftsmen, each visitor can find for themselves a souvenir with a personal mark. That is the spiritual value they find here.
