Elon Musk, the owner and chief technology officer of the platform, recently posted on the social networking platform X, saying that the new feature is still in the “early version” stage.
The South African-born billionaire entrepreneur has ambitions to turn social network X into a “super app.” Since acquiring Twitter last year, he has rebranded the company as X and released a series of features that change the core experience of the app.

With the ambition of becoming a “super-app”, Musk is aiming to integrate more features from messaging, social networking to peer-to-peer payments. Tesla CEO said that users do not need a phone number to use these features.
Last week, the Tesla CEO also said that the social network platform X will soon have two new premium subscription plans. “One is a lower price, full features but with ads. The other is a higher price and no ads,” Elon Musk said in a post on the social network X.
Charging users and attracting marketing dollars to the platform is at the heart of Twitter's overhaul, as Elon Musk has fired most of his staff and disbanded his content moderation team.
Social network X is currently charging new users $1 in New Zealand and the Philippines, and has proposed some restrictions on accounts that do not pay for the service.
The company said that for new users who do not opt in to a subscription, they will be limited to “read-only” activities, including reading posts, watching videos, and following other accounts, but will not be able to post, message, or interact.
Musk's social network X is facing criticism for lax content moderation, especially from marketers who don't want their ads appearing next to inappropriate content.
The European Commission has recently opened an investigation into whether social network X complies with new regulations on harmful and toxic content, after fake news related to the Hamas-Israel conflict spread on the application.
