Tran Phu Commune Fatherland Front: Strengthening the great national unity bloc, promoting the strength to build the homeland

HNP - On September 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tran Phu commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, affirming its pioneering role in consolidating solidarity and building a rich and beautiful homeland. Attending the Congress were Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Pham Anh Tuan and 102 delegates representing all walks of life in Tran Phu commune.

The political report presented to the Congress showed that, during the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Tran Phu commune has promoted the tradition of solidarity, closely coordinated with the Party committee, government and member organizations, implemented many practical activities, clearly affirming its core role in the grassroots political system.

The whole commune has mobilized more than 571 million VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund; supported the construction of 29 new houses, repaired 24 houses for disadvantaged households with a total value of more than 2.1 billion VND; supported capital, plant and animal seeds for many households to develop production; gave gifts to poor students who overcome difficulties. Thanks to that, by the end of 2024, Tran Phu commune will have no poor households, and the number of near-poor households will be only 1%.

In addition, the Fatherland Front of Tran Phu commune also coordinated to effectively implement movements and campaigns, notably "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". In the area, 32 models of self-managed residential areas on security, order, traffic safety, environmental protection, the movement "Lighting up the countryside"... have been formed to create community cohesion. Social supervision and criticism work has been promoted with 12 independent supervisions, 8 coordination with the People's Council, supervision of 15 projects and works, contributing to strengthening people's trust.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Fatherland Front of Tran Phu commune determines its goals, promotes the tradition of solidarity, strongly innovates the content and methods of operation; diversifies forms of propaganda and mobilization; represents and protects the legitimate rights and interests of the people; strengthens supervision, social criticism, prevents corruption, waste, and negativity; builds a clean and strong Party and government.

Three breakthroughs were emphasized: Promoting the core political role, innovating operating methods; strengthening supervision, criticism, promoting democracy and social consensus; accelerating digital transformation, applying information technology, and strongly directing activities towards residential areas. The Congress also set targets to strive to organize at least 3 supervision programs each year, 2 meetings to contribute ideas to Party and government building; each residential area has typical works and tasks; effectively maintaining community funds...

He also praised the solidarity of the people of Tran Phu commune after the merger under the two-level local government model.
