Son Vien Commune Front mobilizes to build and repair 32 solidarity houses

During the past term, the Commune Front and its member organizations focused on propagating the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies; gathering and promoting the strength of great national unity; mobilizing people to effectively participate in implementing 5 major campaigns launched by the Front, contributing to the completion of socio-economic development tasks in the locality.

In 5 years, the Commune Front mobilized people to donate more than 9,000m2 of land, crops, and architectural structures to build 5km of rural roads, 1,000m of intra-field canals and other public works.

From the above source, support was given to build and repair 32 solidarity houses and houses affected by natural disasters; 6 livelihoods were given, helping 11 households escape poverty with a total amount of nearly 1.5 billion VND. Received and gave 2,500 gifts, with a total cost of 1.2 billion VND; mobilized 15.6 million VND from the fund for the poor to support poor students and families in difficult circumstances. In addition, propagandized and mobilized people to change crops and livestock to develop the economy and increase income.

Up to now, the average income of the commune has reached 47 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate has decreased to 4.67%.

The Congress elected 29 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Vien commune for the 4th term (2024-2029); Mr. Phan Canh Tuan was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.
