Artists and actors are proud and moved to attend the 2025 Lotus Village Singing Festival

Taking place from May 16 to 19, the national "Lotus Village Singing" Mass Art Performance is one of the key activities of the 2025 National Lotus Village Festival.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province, attracting the participation of 30 mass art troupes with more than 1,000 artists, actors and musicians from provinces and cities across the country, performing 158 diverse, elaborately staged performances rich in national cultural identity.

Singer Bui Minh Hung, singer of the Mobile Propaganda Team of Gia Lai province, said that coming to the Sen Village Singing Festival this year, the Gia Lai Provincial Art Troupe brought 5 singing and dancing performances, and traditional musical instruments including: Remembering Uncle Ho's words, Following Uncle Ho's call, You are the belief in certain victory, Uncle Ho's words, The Central Highlands remembers Uncle Ho.

According to singer Bui Minh Hung, in 2025 the country will have many major holidays and celebrations, and the Gia Lai provincial art troupe is actively preparing for these events, while also preparing the best for this year's Sen Village Singing Festival.

"Although the troupe's practice time was quite rushed, all members of the troupe tried very hard to bring very special performances to the festival.

Personally, I feel very honored and proud to participate in this performance, on the occasion of the 135th birthday of the great President Ho Chi Minh. This is also an opportunity for us to exchange, learn and gain more experience in performing arts," artist Nguyen Ho Yen Nhi expressed.

As an actor of the Long An Province Mass Art Troupe, actor Dang Duong Phat expressed his honor and pride to participate in the Sen Village Singing Festival and the National Sen Village Festival in 2025 - an art event of profound significance, dedicated to the beloved Father of the nation.

"Standing on the stage of Uncle Ho's hometown, singing emotional melodies, I feel like I am offering him my whole heart of gratitude, love and steadfast faith," actor Dang Duong Phat expressed.

Actor Dang Duong Phat said that at this festival, the Long An troupe brought songs and dances imbued with the identity of the South and hoped that through those lyrics and singing, they could introduce to friends across the country the unique, rich and proud cultural features of their homeland.

"Not only is it an opportunity to perform, the festival is also a precious opportunity for me to visit sacred historical sites such as Kim Lien relic site - Uncle Ho's hometown, or Dong Loc T-junction - a place that marks the heroic sacrifices of the young generation during the war. Singer Pham Thanh Loan, Quang Ngai Province's Mass Art Troupe, said this was the first time she had participated in the Sen Village Singing Festival, celebrating the 135th birthday of the great President Ho Chi Minh.

"I feel very special - both excited, touched, and proud to contribute my voice to this sacred occasion. Coming to the festival, our group has prepared carefully from very early on - from staging, rehearsing the program, to taking care of the health and spirit of the artists and actors. Before entering the competition, we also had the opportunity to visit Uncle Ho's hometown - a place with a very simple and familiar scene, and listen to touching stories about his life and personality", singer Pham Thanh Loan shared.

Singer Pham Thanh Loan also said that at this festival, the Quang Ngai troupe will bring performances praising the glorious Party, praising beloved Uncle Ho and praising the homeland that is changing every day. With the spirit of exchange and learning, I always keep in mind Uncle Ho's teachings: "Culture and art are also a front. You are soldiers on that front". I hope that spirit will be widely spread at the festival and I wish all artists and actors from all over the country will have excellent performances, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of the audience.
