More than 6,660 customers borrow policy credit in Ha Dong

On May 22, Pham Thi Lien, Deputy Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank in Ha Dong District, said that the total loan capital of the unit as of May 20 reached VND 550,843 million, an increase of VND 47,800 million compared to the beginning of 2025 and a growth rate of 9.5%.

Loan turnover in the first 5 months of this year reached 154,519 million VND; debt collection turnover reached 106,837 million VND. Total outstanding loans of programs reached 550,223 million VND, an increase of 47,531 million VND compared to the beginning of the year, with 6,668 customers borrowing capital from 7 credit programs. Credit quality is good, capital utilization ratio reached 99.9%. Interest collection rate reached 99%.

As of May 20, the outstanding loan balance entrusted through unions was VND549,819 million (accounting for 99.9% of the total outstanding loan balance of the whole district) with 6,653 customers borrowing capital through 163 savings and loan groups.

Recently, the District Social Policy Bank has coordinated to complete the work of receiving capital entrusted from the District People's Committee budget with an amount of 7 billion VND. The total amount of money from the Ha Dong District budget entrusted to the District Social Policy Bank to date is 85,103 million VND and has been deployed to lend to beneficiaries.

Recently, the District Social Policy Bank, Quang Trung Ward People's Committee and entrusted associations and organizations have completed the handover procedures, received the handover and reconciled the outstanding loans in 3 wards before the merger (including wards: Nguyen Trai, Yet Kieu, Quang Trung); organized regular meetings with entrusted associations and organizations; performed well the transaction work at the transaction points of the wards...

In addition, the bank also pays attention to policy credit training. This May, nearly 600 members, including heads of residential groups and managers of savings and loan groups in Ha Dong district, were trained in policy credit operations.

The District Social Policy Bank has closely coordinated with associations, unions, and People's Committees of wards to closely monitor and urge the collection of overdue debts to reach 100%. Currently, the management of policy credit capital in Ha Dong district has achieved good results, safely and effectively, with no overdue debts or frozen debts.
