Hanoi Trade Union supports workers with work accidents

Directly to the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung - a member of the Hanoi Mental Hospital Trade Union (under the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union) and the family of Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - a member of the Panasonic System Networks Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union (under the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union), comrade Le Dinh Hung presented gifts to workers who had work-related accidents. Each gift included 3 million VND in cash and in kind.

Leaders of the Hanoi City Labor Federation encouraged workers to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, take care of their own health, work with peace of mind, and be committed to and contribute to the common development of the unit and enterprise.

On this occasion, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union and the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union also had practical gifts for union members and workers.

Receiving the affection, care and concern of the Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung and Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang both expressed their joy and emotion and said that they would be determined to overcome difficulties, take better care of their health and continue to stick together and contribute to the common development of the unit and enterprise.

Sharing with the leaders of the City Labor Federation, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung and Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang said that, in the past, during their work, they were unfortunately involved in a work accident. Mr. Hung's disability rate was 60%; the result of the health assessment for Mr. Thang was 72%. Since the work accident, Mr. Hung and Mr. Thang's health has been weaker, leading to a decline in their ability to work. After the work accident, Mr. Hung and Mr. Thang were assigned to light, suitable jobs by the Company.
