Following the Champions League final on the morning of June 1st, Mbappe didn't hesitate to share his joy on his personal page with the message: "This day has come. Victory and a fantastic attitude from the club. Congratulations PSG."
Mbappe left PSG last summer on a free transfer to join Real Madrid. Since the departure of the French captain, Luis Enrique's team had a historic season, winning four trophies: Ligue 1, the Champions League, the Coupe de France, and the Trophée des Champions.
In the final match held in Munich, PSG delivered a dominant performance. Young talent Desire Doue scored two goals, along with contributions from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu.
Before the match, striker Ousmane Dembele denied that PSG was a "better team" without Mbappe. He emphasized that PSG's current playing style is different from when they had the attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe.
Dembele said: "Does the game become easier without Mbappe? No. Even with Mbappe, we could have achieved better results this season."
Winning the Champions League is a significant milestone for PSG, confirming that the French club has the right development path. Building a foundation from the collective is essential, rather than focusing solely on bringing in expensive stars as in the past.
