Agent Orange disaster and pain
In life, there are pains that we can only fully understand when we witness them directly. The war is long gone, but its consequences still linger through many generations. About 4.8 million Vietnamese people have been directly exposed to toxic chemicals, of which 3 million are victims of Agent Orange.
The victims and their families are still facing countless difficulties every day. Where the biggest dream is simply to have the health to take care of their disabled children, to live a peaceful life like everyone else.
On the evening of August 8, on QPVN TV channel, the art exchange program “Lighting up the future” took place to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam, in response to the Day for Agent Orange Victims in Vietnam (August 10). Attending the program were Prof. AHLĐ Nguyen Anh Tri – Chairman of the MEDLATEC GROUP Advisory Board and Ms. Vu Thi Phuong – Director of the Marketing Center.

Here, there are many stories about the war to overcome the consequences left by Agent Orange, especially listening to the heartbreaking story of the family of veteran Le Dinh Dinh - a victim of Agent Orange in Quang Trung commune (Quang Xuong, Thanh Hoa ) that cannot help but make anyone feel sad and worried.
Returning from the battlefield with the hope of building a happy family, fate was too cruel, his 4 daughters were born with deformities and mental disabilities due to dioxin exposure. Even though they are over 40 years old, the children are still like children, completely dependent on their parents.
Mr. Dinh suffered from lung disease and heart failure, and his wife, Mrs. Dan, had to shoulder the entire family on her small shoulders for over 40 years. There was a time when Mrs. Dan was exhausted and near death, and the government and organizations proposed to send her children to a care center for care, but she resolutely refused. Agent Orange robbed her children of their childhood, their future, and their right to live like normal people, but her grandparents will always make up for it with their boundless love.
And on the S-shaped land there are many such painful stories.
Sowing seeds of kindness, lighting up the future
