Bean sprouts
Damp weather or changing seasons can make laundry very susceptible to mold, especially white clothes. There are many ways to deal with these mold spots, including using bean sprouts.
You can rub clean bean sprouts on these moldy spots, rub hard for 5-10 minutes then wash with clean water. The moldy spots will disappear immediately.
Rice water and orange peel
If your clothes have yellow stains, you can use a mixture of rice water and orange peel. After the mixture boils, soak your clothes in the mixture for 15-30 minutes, then wash them with water. This method is not only simple but also does not damage the material of your clothes.
Boiling water combined with lemon
Stubborn stains on white clothes such as yellow stains, stains from spilled drinks are very difficult to remove, so it would be a waste to throw away your favorite clothes just because of that.
When this happens, boil water with a slice of lemon, then soak the white clothes in the mixture. Soak for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, then rinse with clean water and dry in the sun.
White vinegar and water mixture
Sometimes clothes will have an unpleasant odor because you do not dry them properly. At this time, soak the smelly clothes in a mixture of white vinegar and water for about 10-15 minutes and then dry the clothes in a ventilated place. The odor will no longer be on your favorite clothes.
Use medical alcohol
If your white shirt is accidentally stained with ink, use medical alcohol to pour on the stained area. Remember not to let the alcohol-soaked side of the shirt come into contact with other parts of the shirt, to avoid spreading the ink stain and possibly staining other parts of the clothing.
Use sugar or baking soda
When you are at a party and accidentally get soy sauce on your white clothes, you can use sugar or baking soda to remove it.
Method 1: First, soak the stained area in water, then sprinkle a spoonful of sugar and rub it with your hands. At this point, you can see that part of the soy sauce stain has soaked into the sugar, then wash it again with clean water and soap to remove the stain.
Method 2: After wetting the white shirt, apply baking soda to the soy sauce stain area. After 10 minutes, wash with clean water to remove the stain.
