The world-famous Michelin Guide culinary collection will officially set foot in the third city in Vietnam, Da Nang, with the companionship of its "destination partner" - Sun Group Corporation. The journey to find the hidden "gems" in the central coastal city promises to continue to open a new chapter for Vietnamese cuisine in particular and Vietnamese tourism in general.

After a promising debut early last year in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang joining the Michelin Guide ‘family’ is a testament to the vibrancy and quality of Vietnamese cuisine , along with its rich history and the distinctive flavors of each region. The anonymous assessors have begun their assessment journey and we are proud to be able to announce the selected list of dining establishments to Vietnamese gourmets, along with the international travel community and food enthusiasts in June ”.
The secretive judges, known for their expertise, sophisticated palates and extensive knowledge of international cuisine, have sped through Da Nang in search of outstanding dining destinations. Through anonymous visits and rigorous evaluation, the judges ensure that only the best and most distinctive culinary experiences are recognized and worthy of being honored in the next Michelin list in Da Nang.
Da Nang cuisine has a long tradition with each dish being dressed in a rustic, simple style but still not lacking in sophistication in each different flavor, notably: Banh xeo, Quang noodles, rice paper rolls with pork (pork), vermicelli with fish cakes, vermicelli with fish sauce, banh canh, chao cho, goi ca Nam O or Tuy Loan rice paper... According to the Michelin Guide, anonymous reviewers were extremely impressed by Da Nang's rich culinary heritage. The reviewers enjoyed the feeling of sitting in small eateries or sidewalk vendors to enjoy delicious rustic dishes.
In addition to the unique street food experience, Da Nang's high-end cuisine is also considered attractive and diverse in preparation techniques from local cooking masters and international chefs.

In June 2024, Michelin Guide will officially announce the first restaurant selection list in Da Nang and new lists in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
