From November 13 to 17, from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 200 - 500 mm/period, in some places over 700 mm/period.
In addition, due to the influence of cold air, from the night of November 12, the weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cold, with some mountainous areas in the North experiencing severe cold.
During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature in the North and North Central regions is generally from 15 - 18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North it is generally 12 - 15 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas it is below 11 degrees Celsius.
From November 12 to 13, in the North, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate rain, heavy rain with rainfall of 15 - 30 mm/24 hours, in some places over 50 mm/24 hours.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns of the risk of natural disasters due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and hail at level 1; be on guard against the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding of rice fields and crops in low-lying areas; heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind, flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
