Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh - Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises and leaders of a number of Departments and Offices under the Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and representatives of the leaders of the Committees under the Party Committee of the Bloc.
On the side of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, there were Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; Mr. To Manh Cuong - Deputy Party Secretary, General Director of the Corporation and a number of representatives of leaders and affiliated units.
On the side of Vietnam Railway Corporation, there were Mr. Dang Si Manh - Chairman of the Board of Members of the Corporation; Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh - Deputy General Director, in charge of the Executive Board of the Corporation and leaders of units under the Corporation.
The cooperation agreement will create favorable conditions for the two leading enterprises to promote each other's strengths for mutual development, strengthen cooperation and support, and work together towards long-term and sustainable development, promoting the strong development of the digital economy in Vietnam. The two sides will cooperate and create all conditions for access to products and services to increase customer experience and convenience.
Accordingly, MobiFone will provide VNR with products and services on digital infrastructure, digital solutions, digital services... with the most advanced technologies, aiming to build a 4.0 enterprise, focusing on 3 main areas: Digital Infrastructure, Digital Solutions and Digital Services.
On the basis of cooperation between the two sides, MobiFone will support, consult on the development and implementation of policies, programs and plans to build and implement VNR's Digital Transformation strategy, in line with the Government's goal of "National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030".
Regarding digital infrastructure, MobiFone will cooperate with VNR to build telecommunications - information technology infrastructure to serve production, business, management and operation of enterprises. At the same time, apply cloud computing technology to the process of digitizing enterprise data. MobiFone prioritizes providing leased line transmission services, virtual private network services (VPN), fiber optic Internet (FTTH) and preferential combo packages including: Voice, SMS, data according to each consumer segment suitable for VNR's needs with 24/7 customer care and technical support and preferential rates.
Regarding digital solutions, MobiFone provides VNR with a system of Digital Transformation solutions in enterprises with HRM human resource management solution set, Data digitization solution set, and deploys digital transformation solutions to meet VNR's production and business needs.
In addition, aiming for digital transformation in the railway sector helps improve customer experience, operational management, customer data exploitation... MobiFone supports VNR in developing e-commerce, developing non-cash payment accounts through the MobiFone Money ecosystem; Providing solutions and services for mobile advertising, customer care: SMS Brandname, Voice Brandname...
On the part of Vietnam Railway Corporation, the enterprise will provide MobiFone with preferential policies on train ticket and fare discounts when MobiFone uses VNR's railway vehicles. In particular, incentives will be given to MobiFone when leasing national railway infrastructure assets (renting railway signal infrastructure, land, station infrastructure, station areas) managed by VNR.
This is not the first cooperation between the two Corporations. Previously in 2018, MobiFone and VNR "joined hands" to develop three key areas: Application of Information Technology; Development of signal information systems and communications, advertising.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation said: "With the close direction and orientation of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises and the Central Party Committee of Enterprises in digital transformation and strengthening cooperation between enterprises, implementing the campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods in the new situation, both MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation and Vietnam Railway Corporation are deeply aware of the advantages in implementing cooperation, support and mutual assistance in many fields. With the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement today, MobiFone commits to support and provide maximum support to VNR in all 4 areas: Building a digital transformation strategy, Digital infrastructure, Digital solutions and Digital services.
The cooperation will help to leverage and promote the strengths of each party in their fields of operation, optimize the use of utilities in the ecosystems of both parties, promote customer development as well as open up new opportunities and potentials. The two sides work together on the digital transformation roadmap, aiming to bring customers outstanding services, while promoting the construction of the country's digital economy."
As one of the pioneering enterprises in the field of national digital transformation, MobiFone is not only aware of the mission of digital transformation within the enterprise but also has the responsibility to cooperate in providing products and services for digital transformation at other organizations and enterprises to promote the construction of a national digital economy, aiming to bring Vietnam into the group of 50 leading countries in e-Government as issued by the Prime Minister.
