Mong Cai: Promoting democracy, strengthening people's trust

Mong Cai strives to increase the production value of economic sectors by 19% or more by 2025, equivalent to more than 22,600 billion VND. The city has proactively developed solutions, including promoting democracy, to create solidarity, multiply the trust of cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the area in implementing assigned political tasks, contributing to the success of the province in achieving the economic growth target of 14% or more.

Based on a consistent viewpoint on the policy, along with propaganda work so that cadres, party members and people know about the advantages, difficulties, and factors affecting local economic growth in 2025, the city's leaders have directly visited businesses to both grasp the situation of production and business activities and to promptly encourage and create peace of mind, confidence, and excitement, helping private businesses operate and develop healthily and effectively.

In terms of infrastructure investment, investment attraction, operating costs, logistics services, import and export are all implemented by the city in a transparent manner. Along with that, the city continues to promote administrative reform, promote the effectiveness of digital technology transformation; build solutions to remove difficulties for businesses; encourage private investment in infrastructure investment. Thanks to that, the city has increasingly attracted many domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in many different fields and industries.

In particular, since the end of February 2025, the Agricultural and Food Laboratory (CCIC) has been put into operation to test the content of yellow O, pesticides in agricultural products, the content of chemicals, heavy metals and other substances harmful to humans in exported fruits and foods, which has significantly reduced the time for customs clearance of exported goods; helping import and export enterprises reduce costs related to testing and tracing of goods. Thereby, pushing up the export turnover of goods from Vietnam to China, promoting production and business; contributing to achieving the target of production value of the city's economic sectors.
