This design is by author Tran Cong Hau, with designer Ivan Tran as the coach.
According to the organizers, this design is inspired by the Vietnamese custom of ancestor worship. The design also expresses deep gratitude and respect for the origins and ancestors who silently watched over and supported their descendants, reflecting unity and love.
However, this design faced backlash, with many viewers questioning, "Since when did the altar become a... "Traditional ethnic costumes?"

This design by author Pham Quang Minh also draws inspiration from the Vietnamese belief in ancestor worship. Viewers argue that an altar with an incense burner is a sacred and solemn object that should not be brought onto a beauty pageant stage for display or to attract attention.
