Even though it was extremely hot at noon, the flow of people to Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda was increasing day by day.

Thousands of Buddhists from all over the country patiently lined up in joy and excitement, waiting until 2 p.m. to pay homage to the heart relic of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc.

Many people prepare paper fans, wet towels, water bottles... or find a shady place to cope with the intense heat at noon.

According to the reporter of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, the functional forces were present in front of the gate of Vietnam Quoc Tu, around the intersection, crowded places... to maintain order, and control the flow of people and vehicles.
Because of the large number of people, traffic on Le Hong Phong Street is quite difficult.

Despite standing under the hot sun, a group of more than 100 Buddhists lined up following the nun's instructions, taking the opportunity to buy drinks and take pictures.

"Most of the Buddhists are farmers. When they heard the news that they could worship the heart relic of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc, they took a day off work to come to Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate with Buddhists across the country. Everyone was happy, excited, and did not know what it was to be tired," said a representative of Bao Lam Pagoda.

At exactly 2:00 p.m., the gate of Vietnam National Pagoda opened to welcome people inside to worship the relics.
The organizers arranged for each group to line up in the order they registered.

In the yard area, people are guided to line up neatly along each path to enter to worship the relics.

People are not allowed to bring personal belongings, cameras, video cameras, items such as weapons, explosives, flammable substances, food, drinks, or items that may disrupt order or affect the safety and solemnity of the temple.
