DNO - On May 13th, the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command (Da Nang City Border Guard) coordinated with other units to organize the charitable program "One bowl of rice, a thousand hearts".

Giving gifts to people at the "One Bowl of Rice, a Thousand Kind Hearts" charity program.

During the program, the participating units coordinated to distribute 150 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND and totaling 75 million VND, containing rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, soy sauce, and cereal milk, to impoverished households in Thanh Binh, Thuan Phuoc, and Hoa Cuong Bac wards (Hai Chau district).

Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong, Political Officer of the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, shared: "We have coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to review poor households and disadvantaged families to develop timely support plans. In addition, the unit has proactively mobilized organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists to provide financial support, thereby contributing to encouraging and assisting people to overcome difficulties and improve their lives."

Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they represent the heartfelt generosity and sharing of border guards, businesses, and philanthropists. This helps disadvantaged families find renewed motivation to improve their lives, further strengthening the bond between the military and the people in the border region.
