On the evening of August 15, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace ( Hanoi ), the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor coordinated to organize the ceremony to honor "Typical Enterprises for Workers" in 2025.

The 2025 “Outstanding Enterprise for Workers” Award is an event organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry.
The event aims to honor businesses that have made many contributions to caring for workers' lives and building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations; actively contributing to the sustainable development of the community and society.
Since 2014, the program has honored 578 businesses; of which, 20 businesses have received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister .
In 2025, the program will prioritize selecting private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, and joint-stock enterprises with less than 50% state capital - in line with the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on development and application of science and technology, innovation and Resolution 68-NQ/TW on developing the private economy to become an important driving force of the economy.


After the process of reviewing, evaluating, and surveying the actual criteria, the organizing committee decided to award the "Outstanding Enterprise for Employees" award in 2025 to 28 enterprises nationwide.
Ha Tinh has only one enterprise honored and awarded on this occasion, which is Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company (under Mitraco Ha Tinh).


Lao-Viet International Port Joint Stock Company (located in Vung Ang Economic Zone) was established in 1992, operating in the field of port cargo handling; currently has more than 250 workers and laborers.
During its operation, the company always complies with the provisions of the labor law; effectively implements the democratic regulations at the grassroots level. The salary, bonus, social insurance and welfare regime for employees receive special attention; the current average salary is 15.6 million VND/person/month.
With the consultation and participation of the trade union, the company's collective labor agreement was built with many provisions more favorable than the law. Facilities serving workers (air conditioners, large capacity washers and dryers, water filters, sports areas, dormitories, dining rooms, etc.) are fully equipped and modern. The company also built a fund to lend interest-free loans to workers in difficulty; the visiting, rewarding and encouraging regime was implemented promptly.
Along with that, the unit regularly implements social security programs such as: supporting disease prevention, natural disasters, Tet for the poor; organizing humanitarian charity activities for people in difficult circumstances, policy families... with a budget of billions of VND each year.
For many consecutive years, the company has been honored by the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation as "Enterprise for Workers"; and has been commended by all levels and sectors for its outstanding achievements in the following areas: implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies; application of technology in production and business; fire prevention and fighting; the movement "All people protect national security"...
