On the night of August 19, Lao-Viet International Port Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Macstar Group officially launched the Hai Phong - Vung Ang - Hai Phong container shipping route. The first ship named MACSTAR HAI PHONG docked at Vung Ang port to load and unload 222 TEUs of cargo, including cargo containers for VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, Ha Tinh branch, and empty containers to pack transit cargo from Laos.

The service route aims to ensure the connection of import and export goods in existing and upcoming industrial parks in Ha Tinh province with Hai Phong transit port at competitive costs, superior transportation capacity and CO2 emission reduction.
