From the beginning of the year until now, nearly 57,400 vessels have entered and exited ports in Quang Ngai province. The volume of harvested seafood unloaded at the ports is nearly 22,000 tons; more than 17,600 fishing logbooks have been collected. Authorities have issued 644 receipts with a total harvested volume of over 4,472 tons.
As of December 5th, the total volume of certified harvested seafood was over 3,840 tons; the total volume of certified harvested seafood was over 877 tons. The volume of yellowfin and bigeye tuna unloaded at the province's ports reached 689 tons; the volume of swordfish unloaded at the ports was 37 tons.
By tightening control over loading, purchasing, logistics services, and traceability of seafood, Quang Ngai is gradually closing the "control loop" from shore to sea, contributing to the nationwide effort to remove the IUU "yellow card" and build a transparent and sustainable fisheries industry.
