“Sunflower” (published by the Writers Association Publishing House in 2024) is a collection of poems published by poet Bich Ha, after the collection of poems “Love of the Land” published in 2019. The 40 poems in the book are the heart and soul of the female poet who used to work at Division 375, Air Defense - Air Force, now retired. Bich Ha is a member of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, and is also a female poet with her own creativity.

Born and raised in Quang Binh , born into a family with parents who were cadres who escaped during the resistance war against the French, Bich Ha had a childhood during the war, her dream of becoming a medical university student and an air force soldier was unfulfilled. After retiring, she followed her daughter to Nha Trang, and this place became her second home. Reading Bich Ha's poetry, readers find a sensitive heart, observing everything around them very delicately, from which emotions become poetry. Her poetry is not ornate, simple but penetrates the heart.
In the collection of poems, she wrote a lot about comradeship, perhaps the memories of the war and having been a soldier were deeply engraved in her: “Who can forget the comrade of the past/The girl from the sunny land of Quang Binh/Gentle, gentle… but very enthusiastic/She took care of all public and private matters” (To you, our comrade); or “Let’s return to the place where the unit was stationed/The beloved 375th Division/The former soldiers are no longer young/Taking many positions - their hair has changed color” (Returning to the 375th Division) … She also wrote about the places she passed through, which gave her emotions such as: Da Lat, Vung Tau, Bao Loc…; she wrote about motherly love, for example: “Tilt and bend to protect her child/The motherly love is forever square and round/The branch stretches out to cast a shadow through thousands of rains and sunshine…? Storms and hurricanes… still steadfast!” (Motherly love)…
In addition to the poems Bich Ha composed in the past 5 years, the book also includes some feelings from friends, some songs set to music from her poems, including songs composed by musician Giao Tien such as: "Love of the Fire Land", "Mother is All", "Love Song of Phuoc Dong".
Without embellishment, the poetry collection " Sunflower" is like the whispers of a former soldier and mother. There, we encounter a kind heart and soul.
