On the afternoon of July 23, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine announced the minimum score for admission to regular university based on the 2025 high school graduation score.
Compared to 2024, the floor score in 2025 of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will decrease by 2 points for the groups of medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry; decrease by 1-2 points for the remaining majors.

Nutrition, public health , and ophthalmology have a minimum score of 16 points, which is the lowest among the school's majors.
In 2025, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will enroll 1,920 students in 12 training majors, of which the medical major will enroll the most with 790 students. The school will use two admission methods: direct admission and admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
This is the first time Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has used a combination of English subjects (including A01 and B08) for admission but has not converted scores from IELTS or English certificates.
For majors using admission combinations with English subjects, the school only applies to candidates with high school graduation exam scores in English in 2025. The school does not convert foreign language certificates used for exemption from high school graduation exams into English scores to include in the admission combination.
