Son Duong District Fatherland Front mobilizes nearly 24 billion VND to build new rural areas

Comrade Nguyen Hung Vuong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented flowers to congratulate the congress.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Hung Vuong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Van Dinh Thao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the district; Fatherland Front Committees of districts and cities, and 153 typical delegates representing member organizations, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes, towns, and people of all walks of life in the district.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of Son Duong district completed and exceeded 100% of the goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 16th District Fatherland Front Congress.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has supported the construction of 1,219 new houses, repaired 54 houses with a total cost of 179,065 million VND and over 18,347 working days. The district Fatherland Front has also mobilized people to contribute and support nearly 24 billion VND in new rural construction costs; mobilized more than 3.4 billion VND to contribute to the "For the Poor" Fund; mobilized people to donate more than 52,997 m2 of land, construction works, fences, gates to build roads, cultural houses, etc.

With the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", for the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Duong district continues to diversify forms of gathering, mobilizing, building and consolidating the great national unity bloc to effectively carry out emulation movements, striving for 100% of residential areas to have self-managed groups and teams.

By the end of 2025, basically eliminate temporary housing and dilapidated houses for poor households in the district (for households that meet the prescribed conditions). Strive for 100% of residential areas to effectively implement civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, etc.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Hung Vuong commended and acknowledged the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in Son Duong district during the past term.

He suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son Duong district should continue to innovate its thinking, working methods, propaganda, and mobilize people to improve the quality of emulation movements and campaigns; have specific solutions, innovate in propaganda, mobilize union members, association members and people to participate in implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals, contributing to preserving the national cultural identity, creating a clear change in the district.

Son Duong district leaders awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in Front work for the 2019-2024 term.

At the same time, promote the people's mastery, proactively and actively participate in building a clean and strong Party and government; focus on training, fostering and building a contingent of Front cadres to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Along with that, effectively implement Project No. 02-DA/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in the direction of focusing on the grassroots level...

The congress elected the 17th term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, 2024-2029 term, consisting of 65 members; and elected 33 members to attend the 15th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province. Mr. Do Quang Minh, member of the District Party Executive Committee, Chief of the Office of Son Duong District Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the 17th term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee and the District Fatherland Front Committee commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Front's work for the 2019-2024 term.
