Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Tu, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Phan Thiet 9 Residential Group, shared: “The Front Working Committee actively propagates and mobilizes people to effectively implement movements and campaigns, including the movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind”; calls on people to support money, construction materials, and labor days to support poor households in repairing dilapidated houses and building houses of great solidarity; mobilizes people to actively develop the economy , improve their lives, help each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and encourage people to promote the spirit of mutual love, mutual affection, and neighborly love. Notably, since the beginning of the year, the residential group has coordinated with the Socialized Front Working Committee to build a new house for a near-poor household; mobilizes the giving of more than 50 gifts to policy families and meritorious people on holidays and Tet…”.
In a solid and spacious house, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Phan Thiet 9 residential group said: “I am a near-poor household with difficult circumstances, without a stable job. Before, I took care of my elderly mother who had a stroke after 10 years of my mother's death, then my brother also passed away, the house was degraded but there was no money to rebuild.
In February 2025, with the support of 60 million VND under the province's program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, along with the help of local authorities and residential groups, I was able to build a new house with an area of over 50 square meters, worth nearly 500 million VND. This is the motivation for me to try to escape poverty."
Having only been in operation for 1 month at the local government level, the Fatherland Front of Minh Xuan ward has carried out practical and meaningful tasks such as: Coordinating the implementation of Green Sunday; cleaning the area of the Memorial House to register the names of the ward's martyrs; cleaning the environment to overcome the damage caused by heavy rain, supporting some houses damaged by fallen trees; coordinating with clubs and businesses in the ward to give 64 gifts to 64 families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution, war invalids and martyrs in the ward with a value of nearly 35 million VND.
With good and practical ways, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Minh Xuan ward has promoted the strength of the great national unity bloc, mobilized all resources to effectively carry out social security work; gradually improved people's lives, actively contributed to the implementation of local political goals and tasks.
