According to BBC, MU will not parade in an open-top bus to celebrate with fans, if they win the Europa League in the final against Tottenham on May 22. Instead, they will celebrate modestly - holding a BBQ party at their Carrington headquarters.

The last time MU celebrated in the streets was in 2013, when they won the Premier League , which was also Sir Alex Ferguson's last season before retiring.

Since then, the Red Devils have yet to regain the top spot in English football and have also been lackluster in the Champions League, so a re-enactment of their street celebrations with fans remains to be seen.

In fact, this is not the first time MU has abandoned plans to celebrate loudly when winning a trophy. With its stature, the value of the club is the Premier League and the C1 Cup, so titles such as the Europa League, FA Cup or League Cup are not worth showing off and spending money on.

Not to mention, after the Europa League final, MU plays Tottenham, they still have a match in the Premier League, hosting Aston Villa at home (10pm on May 25).

Amorim's men will then embark on an Asian tour, with friendlies scheduled in Malaysia and Hong Kong, before returning to Manchester on May 31.

Ruben Amorim admits that even winning the Europa League this year would not save Manchester United's disastrous season. The only consolation there is: they have a ticket to next season's Champions League.

MU has played disastrously in the Premier League this season, ranking 16th out of 20 teams, suffering 17 defeats and only getting 39 points with a goal difference of -11, when the game has 2 more rounds to end.
