MU ruined Barca's plan

According to Sport , Director Deco considers Benjamin Sesko the number one candidate for the center forward position to replace Robert Lewadowski in the summer of 2026. Barca even announced that they will do everything to bring the Slovenian striker to Camp Nou, money is not a problem.

However, all calculations of the reigning La Liga champions were ruined when Man Utd suddenly appeared and quickly piled up a large sum of money to recruit Sesko this summer. The young star born in 2003 himself was also interested in coach Ruben Amorim's plan, where he was promised a central role at Old Trafford.

Before accepting to join MU without demanding much salary, Sesko refused an attractive offer and the opportunity to play in the Champions League with Newcastle. This is also one of the factors that made MU determined to own the 1.95 m tall striker.

Although they know that convincing Atletico to sell their key player is almost impossible, Barca still wants to try to convince the Argentine striker. They hope to be able to recreate the "Antoine Griezmann 2.0" deal.
