Sir Jim Ratcliffe has fired a series of staff at MU.

According to Confidential , a number of managers, including one recently promoted to the senior leadership team, have been told to leave in the past week. A veteran, highly regarded figure with decades of service to the club, is also on the list of those to be let go.

The scouting department at Old Trafford has been hit hardest, with director of recruitment Steve Brown confirmed to be leaving the club after nine years, and more names are expected to emerge in the coming days.

Insiders say there are deep concerns that Ratcliffe's downsizing policy is gradually "gutting" MU's identity and spirit. The British billionaire mainly focuses on firing long-term and experienced employees.

Around 450 staff have been made redundant since Ineos took over the club last year, with Ratcliffe recently warning that United could go bankrupt if they do not cut their losses quickly.

Since taking over at MU, Ratcliffe has claimed that the MU staff are not good enough in recruiting and analyzing data. This is the reason for a series of drastic decisions to fire employees by the club's leadership.

The quality of MU's recent signings has been questioned. Many deals have been deemed failures and wastes of money. Not many players who have joined MU in the past few years have been able to establish a solid position at the club.
