This poetry section features two poems, like the summer rain and sunshine, that remain in the memories of Ngo Dinh Hai and Dao Tan Truc.
Summer Rain
A drop of rain visited me one day.
It refused to stay on the shoulder of the shirt.
The rain poured down bold words.
Make the memory stick tilted to one side.
The raindrops fell on my feet.
I hate those clogs so much I don't even bother to greet them.
Watching the rain in the quiet afternoon
Where did that voice of inquiry come from?
Raindrops caress my back.
Yesterday, there was a single drop of sunshine left.
hide in a cup of black coffee
Someone accidentally drank it.
The raindrops came and told him...
The flame tree has moved from its old place.
The wet-winged cicada scurried around.
I searched everywhere but couldn't find a place to stay.
Thin raindrops, thick raindrops
Where have those raindrops from that day, and today, gone?
NGO DINH HAI
The return
I returned with my feet still touching the brown earth.
The sky brought down clouds to deeply infuse the fields.
eyes of the countryside, face buried in their chests.
The smell of straw makes my feet ache...
After so many years, we finally reach a point of joy.
Returning to my hometown for a visit, wandering around the old alleyways.
The old river ripples gently.
I feel sorry for the bittern calling its flock in the midday sun.
these innocent little feet
Oh, the mud and dirt of the old days!
A sip of coconut water softens the lips.
Sweetness permeates every inch of the land, echoing the voice of the homeland.
Thank you, old days, long journey.
My feet kept walking along the brown dirt road.
