Muong Lay organizes the event "Flood season tourism on the Da River in 2025-2026" associated with the first Ward Sports Festival in 2025

From October 31 to November 2, 2025, Muong Lay ward organized tourism activities during the flood season on the Da River in 2025-2026 in conjunction with the first Ward Sports Festival in 2025.

Within the framework of the program, there are activities: Performances of windsurfing, paragliding, fireworks display combined with the opening art program with the theme "Returning to the Da River"; art exchange program; art program Closing the Sports Congress; cycling movement in response to the opening activities; culinary festival; booths displaying and introducing products; cultural space of Thai and Mong ethnic groups; organizing competitions in 15 subjects with 42 events within the framework of the Sports Congress.

The tourism activities during the flood season on the Da River in 2025-2026 were successfully organized, leaving many positive impressions on the people and tourists. For the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded more than 129 prizes (first, second, third, and encouragement) to individuals and teams of athletes with outstanding achievements, specifically: 43 first prizes, 43 second prizes, and 41 third prizes.

This is an event of profound political , cultural and social significance, demonstrating the harmonious connection between sports - culture - tourism, thereby contributing to promoting the image, people and unique cultural identity of ethnic groups in Muong Lay ward to tourists, creating opportunities to exploit and promote potentials, strengths and develop tourism in the coming time.
