On November 21, Hanoi Radio and Television (Hanoi Radio) launched a mobile cultural space experience event on the cultural tourist train "Hanoi 5 Cua O - The Hanoi Train" for 61 contestants who passed the semi-finals of the chamber, folk, and light music styles of the "Hanoi Singing Voice 2025" contest.

During the journey, the contestants enjoyed many traditional cultural and artistic forms such as Quan Ho folk songs, Ca Tru, Cheo singing, Xam singing... fully exploited through four layers of cultural values - architecture - music - cuisine in the train space.
This is a special accompanying activity in a series of events taking place before the final ranking night of “The Voice of Hanoi 2025” at the Hoan Kiem Theater (40 Hang Bai, Cua Nam, Hanoi) on December 9. This activity aims to spread the image of Hanoi as friendly, rich in tradition and creative inspiration, thereby highlighting the role of the contestants - on the journey to become public figures, with social responsibility in preserving and conserving heritage.

The train "Hanoi 5 Gates" is a unique tourist journey connecting the capital Hanoi with the Quan Ho heritage land of Bac Ninh organized by Vietnam Railways Corporation and BHL Trade Service Tourism Joint Stock Company. Contestants of Hanoi Singing Contest 2025 depart from Hanoi station, passing through Long Bien, Gia Lam and Yen Vien stations...
From the stop at Tu Son station (Bac Ninh), the group continued to move to Do temple - an important historical relic complex of Kinh Bac region, where King Ly Thai To and 8 kings of Ly dynasty are worshiped, the starting point for moving the capital to establish Thang Long with a thousand years of culture.
Here, the contestants learned about the ceramic scroll “Chieu doi do” (Transfer of the Capital) to Thang Long by King Ly Thai To, experienced Dong Ho painting, wrapped phu the cakes and enjoyed quan ho melodies… On the journey, the contestants also sang and had interesting and exciting cultural exchanges with traditional artists and music artisans.

The “Hanoi Singing Contest 2025” took place from September 19, with many innovations, including the first time in the history of the contest that international contestants living and working in Vietnam were allowed to participate, demonstrating the strong integration spirit of the capital. Many international contestants from countries such as Russia, Japan, Korea, China, Laos, Thailand and Mongolia registered to participate and went through the semi-finals.

The contest truly had a national scope with the participation of contestants from the Central and Southern regions.
This year, “The Voice of Hanoi” has nearly 700 registered contestants. After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee has selected 61 contestants to enter the semi-finals. Up to now, the Jury has determined 27 contestants to enter the final round and the results of the remaining 6 contestants voted by the audience will be announced on November 23. The youngest contestant was born in 2009 and the oldest contestant was born in 1989, holding Russian nationality.

The important innovation of this year’s competition is the expansion of the final round to four competition nights, instead of just one night as before. Three competition nights in each musical style will be broadcast live to select contestants for the final ranking night. In the final ranking night, contestants will perform two songs, one in their chosen musical style and one about Hanoi to aim for the prize.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Chamber Style competition will take place on November 30, the Folk Style competition will take place on December 1 and the Light Music competition will take place on December 2. The final ranking competition will take place on December 9.
The winner of the Special Prize will receive a total prize of up to 600 million VND including cash and an electric car. In addition, there are 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes and other prizes.
