24h Press Image: US sends AK-47 weapons, anti-tank guns confiscated from Iran to Ukraine

According to Reuters news agency, the US military announced on April 10 that it had transferred to Ukraine more than 5,000 AK-47s, machine guns, sniper rifles, RPG anti-tank guns and more than 500,000 rounds of ammunition that were confiscated from Iran more than a year ago.
This is the latest military aid that the Joe Biden administration has provided to Ukraine, as a $60 billion aid package proposed by Mr. Biden remains stalled in the US Congress. Photo: Reuters.
