Speaking at the conference summarizing the work in 2024 and deploying the tasks in 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training, Minister Nguyen Kim Son pointed out many favorable trends for the sector. In particular, Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training not only orients the work of the sector in the future, but is also of macro scale and convenient for implementation.

In addition, in the period of breakthrough development of the country, the role of human resources is increasingly discussed, the importance of training high-quality human resources is increasingly recognized. The strategy of training human resources for high-tech industries, semiconductor technology is deployed with the leading role of the Ministry of Planning and Investment... is favorable for the industry.

Some advantages related to the teaching staff mentioned by the Minister include: the adjustment of the basic salary level in the past time, in which the majority of beneficiaries are working inthe education sector; the continued allocation and use of more than 65,000 teacher positions...

"During the year, many localities increased their attention to local education," the Minister stated, acknowledging that despite difficulties, many localities still allocated significant budgets to education, and many provinces showed their determination to invest in education.

According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Son, although 2025 is not the starting year of the new 5-year plan, for the education sector it is the time to start many big things. For example, implementing Conclusion No. 91 of the Politburo and the Education Development Strategy to 2030, vision to 2045; implementing the planning of the network of higher education and pedagogical institutions and planning the system of specialized schools.

If the Law on Teachers is passed, 2025 will be the year to begin implementing this law with many important policies for teachers.

Also in 2025, the education sector will start preparing to implement the new preschool education program according to the National Assembly's resolution; summarize and prepare for the next phase of general education innovation according to the 2018 general education program; at the same time, implement large-scale programs, projects, and projects for the entire sector...
