The book consists of 3 parts. Part 1 : I swear with you to maintain the independence and freedom of Vietnam; Part 2: The South is the citadel of the Fatherland; Part 3: The South will surely win.
This is a collection of articles, speeches, telegrams, letters, congratulations, visits, encouragements and motivations of President Ho Chi Minh to the cadres, soldiers and people of the South from 1945 to 1969. Through each letter and telegram, Uncle Ho always followed every step of the Southern revolution, kindly visited, encouraged and motivated the cadres, soldiers and people. Although the South was far away, Uncle Ho's heart was always with the people of the South. Every day, every hour, every big and small task, he always turned towards the South and paid special attention to the cadres, soldiers and people of the South, who were steadfastly fighting on the front line against the US, as well as the cadres, soldiers from the South who had regrouped, and the Southern students who were living and studying in the North.
Along with that, the book clearly depicts the image of the "copper citadel" not only through typical historical events, but also through portraits of ordinary but great people - mothers, brothers, and soldiers who have transformed into the country.
The book The South is the Bronze Citadel of the Fatherland is not only a slice of history, but also an epic poem about the people and the land that contributed decisively to the victory in the spring of 1975. This is a sacred reminder of a heroic past, national character - and a traditional flame that needs to be preserved and spread to today's and future generations.
